Barb Harp
Barbara's yoga classes never end without an invitation to reflect on what there is to be grateful for. This teacher looks back with gratitude at the many steps which eventually led her to where she feels most at home -- sharing her passion for yoga with others, as part of a larger joie de vivre. From dancing and drill team in high school, to grapevines and turnsteps in 80's and 90's step aerobics, to yoga, Pilates and Zumba from 2000 on, Barbara's journey to yoga has been informed by many other traditions and styles along the way. Practiced in Hatha and specialized in Iyengar, Barbara creates a relaxing, welcoming environment with her calm, reassuring presence to foster a healthy, feel-good experience for her students.
Barbara has been teaching yoga for twenty years, and holds RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) certification from Yoga Alliance, the premier form of certification for yoga teachers and a globally recognized standard.Barbara’s students have much to look forward to: a chance to de-stress and improve breathing, flexibility and strength, while also exploring their edge in a fun and supportive environment.
KATE SALTSMAN

Kate began practicing yoga during college as a way to unwind, disconnect and stay active. She maintained a daily vinyasa yoga practice for several years before completing her 200YTT in the Spring of 2022, as a way to explore other forms of yoga, and deepen her self- practice. Revering yoga in her own life as a true "gift to self" she decided to pursue teaching as a way to share this method of self-care and self-balance with others. At Yoga Grove, she continued to train in Hatha yoga under Barbara's guidance. Kate believes yoga can be adapted to everyone, at any stage of life, and her classes will feel you refreshed, strong, and mobile.
